Comments: I just wanted to say how good of a website this is for my family to see what I do out on the river. And I like it when I go on the Illinois River b/c I get to see my wife and son at Lagrange lock or at the river look in Beardstown.

Comments: Thanks for the great site, and even though I have never been on a Towboat, I have always loved to see them work. One of my favorite places to watch is near Hawsville KY, a little restaurant on a bluff, down river from the Locks, gives a good view of tow's passing through the Locks. I also go to Brandenburg and Owensboro, hated it when they took the Lock out. I am going to visit the United States at Moundsville, ILL, it and the America have tweaked my interest. A friend of mine is retired Coast Guard, use to work the Missouri River setting Buoys, he will go with me, said he had been on board the America. Thanks for all the wonderful memories, Bob Cron

Comments: I stumbled upon your website, and looked at several boats I've worked on for Kirby Inland Marine. Now I can show the family better pictures then what my cell phone can show. Thanks for the great website. Jon.

Comments: Recently moved to Owensboro when I retired and enjoy sitting in English Park and watching the boats. This site piqued my interest in the Tow boats and our grandson is now working the river on one. Thanks for as great site.
Comments: I worked on the Mark Miyasaki, it has 8 bedrooms, and 6 bathrooms with showers in all the bathrooms. A great boat to work a 28 day hitch, we all had our own bedroom, and only a couple of guys shared bathrooms /showers
