We were all friends of Bob Knoke who passed away in 2012. His wife Kathy will be leaving Missouri to head to Oregon. Bob took my father when this tug was coming through the docks , He was so happy and proud to share this with his friend. My father talked about this for years. I am not sure what year this was done.

I have photos of the Junita because my grandfather was one of the builders, he also built the Walter P Dolly I have a oil painting that Forrest Hull painted for him. I would like more photographs of the O.F. Shearers and Sons boats, because my grandfather had something to do with them. Would you consider emailing me some. Please.

Found your website, quite by accident. Heard on our local news that a tugboat was sinking on a local water way. Decided to "google" The Tugboat - A J MORRIS to see if it was still in service. Delighted to find this boat pictured in such a collection. My beloved late father was none other than A.J. Morris. Upon his retirement from Ingram in the early 70's, this boat was commissioned and named in his honor for his many years of service to Ingram.

Sir, this is the first towboat I ever worked on. In the spring of 1975 I rode this boat with Capt. Don Williams. In 1988 the boat was sold to Gateway Term. I beleive that I am the person piloting the boat and my brother is the deckhand. I only have one or two pictures of the boat but a lifetime of stories.
