I worked 4 years at Nashville Bridge co, in the Marine Department. I recall taking part in the development and design of several boats... great moment to see a newly built boat cast off and head down the Cumberland. Loved those wonderful boat horn sounds also. Lots of fine memories of a very good product. Thanks

Very nice website. However, Ihave a pics of a couple boats I would like to send to, but I'm getting a message that your email was not properly setup. Can you e-mail me your e-mail address? And I want to make a clarification, the M/V Christian Brinkop is the M/V Cairo, I will send a pic when I get the chance. Keep up the great work.

My dad was a Merchant Marine(Seaman) and I have always been in awe of ships.
Now I am in awe of towboats.
My nephew works on one and totally loves it.

Our family stays at the comfort inn in Visalia
La. At least once a year. The first time we stayed there, my boys jarrod and Jamison caught a glimpse of the Bettye m Jenkins. Evidently it was love at first sight. She seems to come in and dock there every time we visit. My boys thrill at the sight of her every time. The giant windows in the hotel provide a panoramic view to watch Bettye work.
