My dad owned and operated the Natalie Alexander, in the late 70's until 1990. At the time it was named the Sioux. I always wondered if the old girl was still in operation, I finally came across the picture. It looks great. Keep her going DG Marine Trans.

I just found a photo of the old ORCO towboat the Ralph E. Plagge. I worked for ORCO when the Plagge was christened and Ralph was both a friend and a mentor. I have a silver plate on the wall from the christening on June 17, 1976 and was wondering if Ralph's name was still on a boat. It was great to see the photo letting me know that he is still remembered.

Thank you for preserving pictures of the tugboat WM.L.TALBOT! He was my uncle and I plan to paint the old tug for a family remembrance.

I was a summer deckhand 1965-1967 on the Ole Miss owned by Valley Towing Company of Greenville, MS owned by Captain Percy LeMay. At that time the Ole Miss carried a matched set of 3 crude oil barges that at the time were the largest barges on the Mississippi. We would load crude in Venice or Port Sulpher, LA to take to Delta Refining Co. on McKellar Lake in Memphis.
