Built 1952 by Alexander Shipyard, New Orleans, LA.

GM 16-567 diesel, repowered 1973, 1600 hp. Falk reduction gears.
Originally Pegasus, owned by Pan Gulf Towing Co.
Sold to J. S. Gissel & Co., Houston, TX,
renamed San Salvador 1960.
Retired for eight or more years.
Sold to Transcity Marine Corp., Channelview, TX,
entirely rebuilt, renamed Mississippian 1973.
Sold to Illinois Barge Line, Inc., Wheaton, IL, 4/1974.
Sold to Sugarland Towing Co., Inc., Lafayette, LA 1/1975.
Sold to National Marine Service, taken out of service 1977.
