Diesel, 3000 hp. Engine and Machinery undetermined. Originally YTB 525, named Wabanquot, assigned to the U. S. 11th Naval District, San Diego, CA. Transferred to the U. S. Atlantic Fleet, placed in reserve status with the 16th Fleet 1947. Assigned to the U. S. 3rd Naval District, New York City, NY 1948-1976. Reclassified as medium harbor tug, redesignated as the YTM-525, 2/1962. Acquired by Cape Fear Towing Company, Wilmington, NC, renamed Fort Johnston 1976. Firm acquired by the Moran Towing Corporation, New Canaan, Connecticut 2007. Retired from service 2012.
